And I'm excited to say that I have decided on a plot to write on! Too many nights have been spent in trying to decide on which plot to choose; and, now that it has been chosen, I feel much at ease.
For certain reasons, I will not be able to mention my plot line until it is mostly written. (Wouldn't want my ideas taken or anything!) I will say this, however, that my novel will be completely unique. I highly doubt anyone has read anything similar to it.
That's all for today! Time to get some chores done and write out a few character profiles for my story.

How do all these authors have awesome similes and quotes? Comments? How do you come up with quote worthy expressions?
I think to get those "quoteable quotes" you have to read veraciously. Read authors like Booth Tarkington, G.K. Chesterton, and of course Dickens. Their perfect descriptions of scenery, people, and situations is catchy and soon you will find yourself speaking and writing with description and great language. After reading for a while I can look around the room and describe the scene in much different language than we use in every day speech.
ReplyDeleteI've thought much about that as well. Benjamin Franklin said, "If you would not be forgotten, as soon as you are dead and rotten, either write things worthy of reading or do things worth the writing." I'm enjoying your blog! :)
